Split Summer Festival (Splitsko ljeto) (Mid-July to mid-August). A festival of opera, drama and ballet staged in the Peristyle and other palace venues since 1954.
Ultra Europe (July). One of Europe's biggest electronic-music festivals, drawing huge international crowds to Split's stadium and islands.
Days of Diocletian (August). A Roman-themed re-enactment festival with costumed legionaries, markets and processions through the palace.
Advent in Split (December). Christmas markets, concerts and lights along the Riva and Old Town.
